LVS40 Series

Varsi was a pioneer in the 12,5kA, Class I application, when back in 2004, a double varistor version has been placed on the market.

Now at this point of time, we're again breaking a new ground offering low voltage square shaped high energy varistors S40 (33 mm x 33 mm), that can withstand high surge impulses for Class I and Class II (IEC 61643-1)/Type I and Type II (EN 61643-11).

Varsi low voltage high energy varistors LVS40 Series (40V, 50V, 60V) may be conveniently used in surge protective devices for renewable energy sources, especially in small size photovoltaic systems.

Varsi LVS40 Series offers an excellent overvoltage protection of solar panels and any corresponding low voltage equipment - (micro) inverters, sensors, etc. connected to these low voltage sources where high lightning currents can be expected.
